History of the telescope
The first telescopes appeared around the 1608. Hans Lippershey and Zacharias Janssen were using a type of spyglass which consisted of convex objective lens and a concave eyepiece. Galileo improved on this design and is credited as being the first to invent the first astronomical telescope. In 1611, Johannes Kepler described how a telescope could be made with a convex objective and eyepiece lens. 1655 astronomers like Christiaan Huygens were building powerful but very large Keplerian-design telescopes with compound eyepieces. 1688, Sir Isaac Newton added a small flat diagonal mirror to reflect the light to an eyepiece mounted on the side of the telescope. Around 1688, Laurent Cassegrain made the design of a reflector with a small convex secondary mirror to reflect light through a hole in the main mirror. 1857 they started coating telescopes.
Diffrent types of telescopes
The refractor
The light-collecting part of the instrument is a large curved lens called an objective. Light from an object deep in space pass through this lens, they are refracted, or bent, along the telescope tube towards a point where they form togther forming an image.
Radio telescopes
Radio telescopes are another diffrent type of telescopes that have a parabolic structure. The material forming the dish are basically wires that can conduct. These dishes can collect together to form diffrent kinds of element forms of radio telescopes. They analyze the electromagnetic radiation, these radio telescopes can analyze the microwave radiation. Hard to observe visible light are usually shown with the help of these radio telescopes.
This telescope can penatrate the metals. They have mirrors that are capable of reflecting the light with the help of the heavy metals with which they are constructed. These telescopes are being used in satellites that revolve earth.

5 important discoveries made about our solar system and our universe that can be directly related to the use of the telescope.
1. The discover of plants 2. In making this telescope, Galileo was the first to see the mountains on the moon and the star clusters of the Milky Way, four moons orbiting jupitar. 3.William Herschel found Uranus; it was the first discovery of a planet in more than 3,500 years. He also built a powerful telescope tocount the stars; he showed that the Milky Way was a gigantic disk of stars, and his star count revealed that our galaxy was much larger than people believed before. His discoveries helped scientists see that solar system was just a small part of a deep and huge universe. 4. The discovery of galaxies, You can see stars close up to the human eye with very high tech telescopes. 5. The telescope made a very big impact upon us because it showed how the univorse came to be, the big bang theory showed how the univorse came to be. By calculation by sciencetist. 6. There is supernovas 7. Gamma ray explosions
